Almost four years ago a group of residents got together and presented a bid to the Heritage Lottery Fund’s ‘Parks for People’ programme. After lots of hard work with Camden and the whole project team, we were absolutely delighted to be awarded funding from the HLF in Summer 2013 to restore Alexandra Road Park.

The Heritage Lottery Funded park restoration works are now complete!

We are delighted with the stunning results and all the hard work of everyone involved has truly paid off. The combination of our very special new playgrounds and the return of the beautiful parkland spaces is quite something.
There are still a few finishing touches to come – notice boards (and another surprise element) will be installed shortly and there will be more planting in the autumn.
A warm welcome to all visitors from near and far!

Visit the Park’s website for more information.
