Supporting Residents
We work with Camden Council to ensure they deliver the best possible service for us. We have had walkabouts on the estate to identify areas of concern and we look at issues that affect us all such as recycling, CCTV, repairs and cleaning
Filming on the estate
Because of our unique architecture, we get many requests from filmmakers and photographers to use Rowley Way. The Film Subgroup (made up of residents and TRA members) vet film scripts to make sure the estate is not portrayed in a negative way. Prospective film makers don’t always tell us the whole truth, but we do our best. All filming or photography is prohibited on the estate UNLESS you have to have a license from Camden’s FilmFixer unit. The TRA receives 50% of fees charged to Production companies by FilmFixer. This money enables us to do things on the estate for the residents like the fireworks displays and all our other events.
Annual fireworks display

A party in the Tenants Hall, with food and mulled wine and fireworks display from the roof of the tenants hall – this event can attract 300+ residents. Date for 2025 is Sunday 9th November.

Taught by a highly experienced teacher. http://shinbudo.wordpress.com/
A&A Bee’s
A small group of the TRA have, for many years, kept beehives on the roof of the tenants hall. It can be hit and miss some years with adverse weather – either too hot, or too cold, or wet etc etc. 2022 is beginning again with two new colonies which should arrive in early May. We have some new beekeepers to help who will be trained up for the world of beekeeping by one of the small groups experienced member. We hope to, later in the year, have a bit of honey we can share with you. Watch this space for invites to come and view our hives perhaps later in the summer.

Santa’s Grotto
Alexandra and Ainsworth Christmas event has now been running for 4 years and this year Santa’s was able to give out Presents and goody bags to 112 Children! Children and Carers enjoyed an assortment of crafts, refreshments and a Carol Service held at the end of the event.
This is a free event and flyers with instructions for booking your child’s place for this years event will be plastered on the estate sometime in November. Please book early to avoid disappointment.
